Candidates' FAQ

1. What happens after I upload my CV to your Website?

Once we have received your CV, we will check to ensure you have the correct qualifications and experience. If you are successful then a member of the Kenyan ERS team will contact you for an initial interview. Once a suitable vacancy is available for you then we will set up a video link between yourself and your prospective employer.

2. How long will the Process take?
This depends upon several factors. It may take time to match you with the right overseas employer, however we will endeavour to make this a very smooth and swift process for you. We will keep you informed every step of the way and your patience will be very much appreciated.

3. If I start working for a company oversees, can I still have contacts at ERS?
We have a dedicated Welfare Team in both Kenya and the UK who are always at the end of the line for any employment or personal issues or advice or just a friendly chat. There is also a huge network of other Kenyan Chefs and Nurses already living and working in the UK who we can put you in contact with.

4. Do I have to pay?

There is no fee to upload your CV. Once shortlisted, a member of the ERS team will get in touch with information on how the process shall progress, and any other requirements that may be necessary.

Employers' FAQ

1. What is your Selection and Interview process?

Once we have verified a candidates qualifications and experience we then personally interview each and every one before presenting their CV to a potential client. Once a candidate has been selected then we can set up a video link interview to ensure you are happy before offering a letter of employment.

2. How long do I have to wait until my new member of staff arrives in the UK to start work?
This will vary due to several factors, such as the British Home Office application turn around time frame and the Kenyan High Commission visa application process. However as soon as a Visa has been granted your new employee will be on the next available flight.

3. Do I need to be a Sponsor to employ oversees candidates?
Yes. In order to employ skilled workers who are based overseas you must now have a Sponsorship License.

4. How do I obtain Sponsorship License?

5. How do you charge?
